David M. Katz, Esq.

David M. Katz is the Founder and Lead Attorney of the Firm. David was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Rockland County in 1974 where he grew up and lived for most of his life. After attending Queens College, getting married and having two children, David decided to go back to school at age 30 to get his law degree. He started at Pace Law School as a part-time night student while working full-time and graduated in 2006. David passed both the New York and New Jersey bar exams and opened the firm in September of 2006. The Firm has grown to a staff of 13 with two locations assisting its clients with their financial issues.

David is a member of the New York State, Rockland County, and American Bar Associations and a Member of ACA International, the primary debt collector’s association in the country

In addition to being a licensed attorney, David is also a Mediator certified by the New York State Courts. David has completed many self-improvement seminars to be the best advocate for his clients and has recently begun a part-time master’s program at New York University in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness.

David is dedicated to helping people live their best lives and spends ample time with his clients seeking to better understand and help them. Because of his own journey in life, David is uniquely able to understand, empathize, and help his clients who are suffering financially.
